Les peuples autochtones face au Covid-19 : un tour d’horizon au 20 mai 2020.

Abstract : This article provides an inventory of indigenous populations facing the pandemic in 8 points. It begins by 1) specifying the situations of these populations in the States and the available data . Then the author discuss 2) what the numbers indicate or leave out and 3) the way in which information flows to the inidgenous peoples.She explains 4) how the pandemic inscribes itself in a memory, arouses fear, and 5) she describes various levels of interpretation. Then she mentions 6) the measures that the indigenous peoples have adopted in the face of the pandemic, 7) the difficulty of respecting the gestures of physical distancing and 8) the provisions for living, eating and caring in times of pandemic.
