New chronology of North Arabian inscriptions: the tomb of Yn' (Kilwa, Saudi Arabia)

Abstract : During the 2010 expedition to Kilwa, we excavated a funerary monument that revealed bones and two texts in North Arabian script. The analysis of the bones, using a method adapted to human remains from very arid environments, allowed us to re-discuss the dating of the use of the Northarabic script. We present here only the results of the analysis of the bones, the inscriptions are being edited.
