Sur la base de documents internes de la guérilla « pro-apartheid » des années 1983-1985, – c’est-à-dire la période juste avant et après les Accords de Nkomati entre le Mozambique et l’Afrique du Sud (mars 1984) –, ce chapitre étudie le grand effort de la rébellion pour s’étendre à tout le pays, en particulier dans le Nord très loin de la frontière avec l’Afrique du Sud et pour faire reconnaître sa légitimité.
