Le langage lyrique en Chine populaire : la modernité et l'après-Mao

Abstract : This article discusses the contribution of the language of poetry to the creation and development of the modern Chinese language in general. Having encountered considerable political interference during the twentieth century, this language finally attained an eloquence and power born of a necessary syntactic transgression.
