Saignées et autres manipulations vétérinaires d'après les traités d'hippiatrie et d'économie rurale de l'Occident médiéval (XIIe-XVe siècle)

Abstract : The article approaches the question of the veterinary specialization through the example of the surgical acts. The hippiatry appears as an elite surgery and a typology of acts is proposed. We can then compare it with the data of the treaties of falconry and rural economy to point out the common points and the differences between the specialities.
