تعتبر مدينة دوز الواقعة بصحراء البلاد التونسية فضاء اجتماعيا مميزا، يستوجب دراسة سوسيو- أنتروبولوجية ميدانية لتبين مدى تأثير العولمة في تلك الثقافة، وإبراز انعكاسات ذلك على المستوى الأسري وعلى المستوى العلائقي وعلى مسألة الهوية والانتماء. إذ يمكن لثقافة الفرد داخل هذه المنطقة، أن تحتضن الماضي – بشكل واع أو لا واع – دون القطع معه أو طمسه لأنّها تعدّه نافعا صالحا لحاضرنا وشكلا من أشكال الحفاظ على ثقافة "الأنا" والتمسك بالهوية الثقافية المحلية التي تميزه عن الآخر. كما يمكن لهذه الثقافة أن تجاري الواقع لتواكب كل ما هو عصري فتنتصب مدافعة عن العولمة، داعية إلى اتخاذ موقع فيها، يجرفها تيار "الآخر" ليصل ذلك حدّ الإعجاب أو الافتتان الذي يمكنها من تبني ما يمثله الآخر من تقدم وحداثة باسم مواكبة العصري والموضة رافعة شعار التكيف مع كل ما هو جديد للاندماج فيه والعمل على إقناع الآخرين بسلامته.

This participation is a socio-anthropological study of major social transformations in the city of Douz. The intervention also shows the impact of globalization and highlights its implications on family and relational level and on the issue of identity and belonging. Relying on the case study methodology we concluded there have been several social changes in the region comparing with the past. Those changes have included some elements of material and even immaterial culture. This has been the outcome of several factors such as education and tourism. These changes give birth to great transformations concerning the concept of the family and its roles. They also touch the social relationships and undermine the foundations of the desert cultural identity. This is mainly due to the strong impact of globalization
