Rapport de fin de projet : NanoNorma. : De l'Innovation à l'Utilisation, quel cadre normatif pour les nano-objets ?

Abstract : With the development of nano-objects comes, from the early 2000s, around the world, questions relating to their regulation. Are existing standards, understood in a broad sense, sufficient to support these objects? Are new rules needed to ensure that the expected benefits of these emerging technologies will not be spoiled by unanticipated risks ? NanoNorma aims was to equip these questions by analyzing the mechanisms of formation and of application of these norms throughout the life cycle of nano-objects and their relevance to these emerging technologies. From patents laws to consumer and environmental protection, from the workers safety to the management of chemical risks, the set of legal and extra-legal rules, applicable to nano-objects were examined and evaluated with a view to increasing the knowledge available to the public authorities in charge of the "nano" in the national and European level.
