Percevoir un objet en révolution : une réalité conflictuelle

Abstract : The fate of common sense in matter of governance is often attested when there is a non-applicable solution to real political problem. In the case of a punitive action, presently at Martigues during the summer 1792, the historian of discourse can approach the social context of a political failure by the apprehension of an object in a punitive context, presently a skull on an "arbre de la liberté". The cognitive approach depending on whether or not it is performed properly, so it is not true or false but instead "happy" or "unhappy". The description by the historian of the historical context, with the aid of the archive, is a source of specific political stances in a context of murder. We are in a kind of conflict in which defeat is experienced as an ethical failure requiring reflection on "what went wrong" to determine the historical significance of the conflict itself.
