Preliminary excavations realised in and around the former abbey of Saint-Denis, in Nogent-le-Rotrou (France - Eure-et-Loir) have led to the discovery of five distinct buildings, the construction of which leading us from the 12th to the 19th century. More over, we now know much more about the spatial organisation of the monastory and its vicinity during this long period.

Dans le cadre d'un diagnostic archéologique étendu, la partie sud du monastère Saint-Denis de Nogent-le-Rotrou (Eure-et-Loir) et ses abords immédiats ont fait l'objet de nombreux sondages. Ils ont notamment permis de localiser cinq bâtiments distincts, dont la construction s'étale du XIIe au XIXe siècle et, plus généralement, d'analyser l'organisation de l'abbaye et de ses abords au cours de cette longue période.
