Creating a database for Tibeto-Burman languages

This article reports on the progress of the programme of scientific cooperation between the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences entitled "Trans-Himalayan database development: China and the subcontinent" launched in June 2005 and coordinated by the author.
