ALTÉRITÉ ÉNONCIATIVE ET PERFORMATIVITÉ DES DISCOURS. POUR UNE LINGUISTIQUE RELATIONNELLE

Abstract : Starting from my main fields and fields of analysis (verbal violence, the question of gender, the didactic question), I propose a reflection on the place and articulation of people in speech, from theories of enunciation ( Benvéniste 1966, 1974; Maingueneau 1981, 1995; Kerbrat Orecchioni 1980). The I is indeed at the center of the enunciation, which generally relegates the Tu to a "mirror-of-I" and rejects the third person on the periphery of the deixis. It is thus through the enunciation and the fact of considering the interactions between people not in a strictly grammatical dimension, but according to the relationships which they allow to develop and to weave socially between individuals (Goffmann 1959 / trad. 1973, Kerbrat-Orecchioni 1992), that I am interested in the performative dimension of discourse. More than the way in which people build an utterance and / or speeches together, I stand on the side of what speech and utterance do to people, in the sense that all speeches, all utterances cannot but act. on the subject. Rooted in sociolinguistics and discourse analysis, with a praxematic dimension, this work proposes to think differently about the place of people in enunciation also in terms of other disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, sociology or even anthropology. This, because of the first interlocutive and discursive place of people, by which each utterance can exist only by the way opened by others who preceded it and carried by other voices. The notions of dialogism (Bakhtine, 1929 / trad.fr. 1977), intertextuality and interdiscursivity (Pêcheux 1975; Maingueneau 1997; Heller 2002), intersubjectivity (Détrie 2002) or even face (Goffman 1959 / trad . fr. 1973, 1967 / trad. fr. 1974) and ethos (Amossy 1999) are thus naturally summoned where there is a general question of verbal interactions. The Tu is thus revisited in the perspective of interlocution. I propose following to name the third person rather "third" person, insofar as, as a representative of an animated subject, the third person is the one who allows the triangulation of the speech and the exit from the dual relation - and possibly conflictual, because binary - between I and You. In this, the third person is at the same time witness, separator, mediator. On the basis of this reflection, I also propose to consider that the binary dimension inherent in the assignment of sex can carry in itself a conflictual dimension, that only contemporary and advanced reflections - see radical - on the notion of gender can be used to extrapolate (notion of gender creative, asexual person, or the refusal to assign sex at birth in favor of recognition of the person). I finally examine how this notion of third-party mediator is also linked to the didactic dimension of interactions through the notions of communication competence (Hymes1971 / trad. Fr. 1984) and interculturality (Abdallah-Pretceille 1996, 2004).
