Ancient silver coinages between Rhône and Po. New insights from analytical data

Abstract : The aim of this research project1 is to assess the nature of the interactions between the Massalian and Celtic silver coinages circulating between the Rhône and Po rivers from the 3rd to the early 1st centuries B.C. The focus of this work is set on non-destructive elemental analysis, performed with neutron-based techniques and LA-ICP-MS3 on a sample of c.200 coins.
