Les sermons d’Augustin d’Hippone : un corpus impossible ?

Abstract : The some 800 sermons of Augustine of Hippo (354-430) are sources of great importance. However, it is difficult to organize this constantly expanding group of texts (discovery of new sermons or lost parts of known sermons) into a corpus. We therefore question four types of organization (chronological, thematic, contextual and philological), specifying the adapted methodology and giving examples of the distinct results to which they lead.
