Se dire en classe de langue : de l’autoportrait littéraire à la compétence autobiographique en langue-cible

Abstract : The purpose of this article to see if a text such as Agota Kristof's L’Analphabète (2004) can be used to establish autobiographical competence in the target language among mobility students. A first part will explore the conditions of possibility for self-emergence in the host society, and in the language classroom in particular. We will see, in this context, how the notion of discursive landscape operates to set up a system of self-figures, that are forged in discourse, and how the notion of self-portrait - rather than that of life story - assembles autobiographical snatches. Our approach will be illustrated by a reading of Kristof's text, taken from our training practices.
