Le cimetière du second âge du Fer de Lailly au-delà de l'eau (Yonne) : découvertes anciennes et fouilles récentes

Abstract : Discovered in 1927 and partially excavated in 1934, 1936, 1937, and for the last time in 2012, the Lailly Au-delà de l’Eau (Yonne) cemetery was sporadically occupied from the early 4th century to the early 1st century BC. Following a study of the artifacts re-discovered in the reserves of the Sens museums, and a systematic review of the excavation archives kept at the Société Archéologique de Sens, it was possible to reconstruct part of the enclosed groups and propose a chronology of the occupation of this small cemetery whose significant scientific potential remains to be explored in the field. Based on a study of the mortuary practices, it was also possible to replace the discoveries in the regional and supra-regional socio-cultural contexts
