Pour une sociologie des travailleur· euses du droit et de la justice

Abstract : Despite their specificities, legal stakeholders don’t escape to the contemporary changes in the world of work. They are facing the intensification of their activity, are involved in social struggles, while the “glass ceiling” is still blocking women’s access to certain functions. Such developments in the worlds of law and justice plead to offer some elements of a sociology of work for these professionals. This requires breaking down the barriers of the fields of sociology, like the American approaches which have analyzed the work of jurists. In doing so, the following introduction presents the different articles of the Corpus from two perspectives: that of the traditional legal professions and that of the jurists of large organizations.
