Abstract : By focusing on the Kenyan case studies of a news platform, The Elephant, and a blog, Bikozulu, this article studies the way in which information is treated or produced in the context of a public health crisis, in this instance the Covid-19 pandemic. It aims to address the notion of alternative media, creativity and online audience, and more broadly access to different types of information in the contemporary period.
