La Turquie d’Erdogan et la géopolitique des migrations

Abstract : There is no shortage of questions about Turkey's geopolitical evolution. However, President Erdogan's strategy is in no way hidden. Certainly, some who prefer pacifism may have believed that Ahmet Davutoglu's formula "zero problems with its neighbors", enunciated even before he became Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs (2009-2014), summed up Turkish foreign policy. But as early as 2001, the ambition to increase Turkey's geopolitical weight, to increase its "strategic depth," to use the title of the book published that year by Ahmet Davutoglu, was made explicit. This ambition also aims to obtain and develop external geopolitical successes in order to receive internal dividends during elections in Turkey. One of the means of this strate-gy is a geopolitical use of the migratory phenomenon.
