L’Atlas et la Base de l’âge du Fer européen : nouveaux outils d’analyse, interprétation et valorisation des données archéologiques

Abstract : The European Iron Age Atlas (http://www.chronocarto.ens.fr/gcserver/atlas) is a tool for recording, archiving and mapping archaeological data hosted since 2016 on the Huma-Num research infrastructure (TGIR) servers. Developed by UMR 8546 AOrOc under the direction of K. Gruel, O. Buchsenschutz and M. Cartereau, the Atlas is based on the systematic review of publications by various European collaborators of the UMR. By repositioning the inventoried sites in space and time, the tool will allow, as it is enriched, to question the dynamics, changes and trajectories followed by pre-Roman societies on a continental European scale.
