Ererouyk. Un site archéologique majeur, haut lieu de l'Arménie chrétienne

Abstract : Famous for its imposing basilica, close to the ruins of the ancient capital Ani, the early Christian and medieval site of Ererouyk is one of the most enigmatic in Armenia. The study presents in a synthetic and accessible manner, thanks in particular to an abundant illustration, the components of this vast ensemble and the questions it poses. It is based on the work carried out in Ererouyk from 2009 to 2016 under the direction of the author by the Franco-Armenian Archaeological Mission of the Laboratoire d’Archéologie Médiévale et Moderne en Méditerranée (LA3M), Aix-Marseille University.
