Le care maternel: par-delà la dichotomie du naturel et du construit

Abstract : Our article adopts the double framework of care ethics (Carol Gilligan) and evolutionnist anthropology (Sarah Hrdy). We show how constructivist and naturalistic arguments complement each other to think the varieties of maternal care. Our Naturalism is redefined from potentialities rather than facts, against the idea that gender studies should rely solely on constructivist arguments.
