Abstract : A territorial focus on British specificity in the western European panel studied by the book "Work in western Europe from the 1830s to the 1930s. Artisanal and industrial labour, social practices and issues", a compendium aimed at candidates for the 2020 CAPES/Agrégation dealing with historiography, periodization, economic, political, international and social contexts, as well as the labour movement and its multiple forms. Among the authors of other chapters: Christian Chevandier, Alexandre Fernandez, Fanny Gallot, Stéphane Sirot.
