Les rituels de construction des temples égyptiens. Gestes représentés sur les parois et actes attestés par des fouilles à Karnak

Abstract : The ritual of foundation and construction of an Egyptian temple is known by texts and representations engraved on the walls. The scenes, whose number and order of succession are variable, lead to different interpretations. They may be justified or contradicted by archaeological observations. Excavations at Karnak‑Nord have uncovered material traces of operations actually carried out before and during the construction of the temples. Unpublished discoveries at the temple of Khonsu illustrate some rites or allow to propose new interpretations.
