Une histoire personnelle de méthodes

Abstract : This text revisits the history of a method I have used to conduct most of my research, sociological intervention. In it, I try to express how I arrived at this method, and why I have maintained its essential principles over the course of research dedicated to objects far removed from social movements. I also want to defend the idea that methods are “theories in action” which perhaps better defines the orientations of sociological work than the great theoretical paradigms and quarrels of established Schools can do.
