Transport fluvial : le conflit sans fin sur le projet de canal Rhin-Rhône

Abstract : In application of the laws voted in the years 2010, the territorial landscape of France is being turned upside down. In addition to the mergers leading to the abolition of nine regions, the communes are now obliged to join together in larger inter-communal bodies, sometimes comprising up to more than a hundred communes. These considerable administrative changes must be analysed in terms of their geographical effects without forgetting to highlight the issues at stake.
