Les familles monoparentales immigrées : des familles doublement pénalisées ?

Abstract : The "double penalty" issue to which would be sentenced the immigrant women living on their own with children is being at the root of this article. Furthermore, although their situation is generally much more difficult than other mothers, our findings proved to be more mixed when one looks from the point of view of their gender living alone with children. The heterogeneity among immigrant mothers living on their own is highlighted while distinguishing three more or less vulnerable groups of single parent.
