Le « tournant éthique » de l'enseignement de la littérature : nouvel horizon ou demi-tour ?

Abstract : The current ethical turn in the teaching of literature raises questions on account of the socio-historical background evoked by any overlap between the teaching of literature and the teaching of moral education. As remote as it may seem, there is a risk that this background may potentially influence the epistemology of both literature as a taught subject and its educational objectives. Are we moving towards the teaching of ethics through a subjugated form of literature or towards literature as a source of ethical issues? Are these two paths dissociable?
