Peintures murales fragmentaires à composition architecturale de la villa de Marina di S. Nicola (Ladispoli)

Abstract : The complex at Marina di San Nicola, ca. 30 km north of Rome, is a large villa maritima including a belvedere tower whose excavations have unearthed rich decorations. Along with wall paintings still in situ, there was also a considerable quantity of fragmentary material whose study is under way. This paper presents the preliminary results of the study of one group of fragments among the various identified so far.
