Textual data analysis computer system SPAD-T. Application example to post-war Spanish press

This paper presents the computer system for textual data statistical analysis SPAD.T. This system integrates statistical methods, usually employed to analyse survey questionaries and lexicometric methods, specific to textual domain. The application of these methods has revealed itself profitable to describe, synthesize, classify and criticize textual information. The SPAD.T system is a statistical and informatic tool for quantitative and comparative texts analysis. An application to the study of newspaper editorials of the postwar era will show some its possibilities.
