L'essor des outils numériques dans le champ de la conception urbaine : vecteur de recomposition des postures et pratiques (inter)professionnelles ?

Abstract : This article analyzes the ways CAD software question (inter)professional practices and positions of urban design actors. Our paper relies on semi-structured interviews with architects, urban designers, landscape designers and engineers. The interviews were based on the presentation of Hyetos, a software for conceiving and designing alternative water management. Firstly we present interviewees’ critical reflections about the ability of the software to provide new competencies and to bring out interprofessional cooperations. Secondly, we highlight that these postures are dependant from a multiple constraints system in which these actors are involved. In fine, this paper reveals how CAD software, dedicated to rainwater management, deeply interrogates specificity and autonomy of professions as well as interprofessional cooperations in urban design.
