Une rencontre interculturelle. Souvenir d'un artiste "Alzheimer"

Abstract : This text proposes a reflection on the intercultural encounter, the notion of interstructuration in Malrieu and that of individuation in Jung. It is inspired by research in intercultural clinical psychology on the effects of therapeutic workshops offered to people suffering from disorders related to Alzheimer's disease or related diseases. This work was carried out in an accommodation facility for elderly people (EHPAD). Within this establishment a secure extension called UHR (Enhanced Accommodation Unit), welcomes elderly people with behavioral disorders and requiring specific care. The UHR is a living space that houses residents suffering from "Alzheimer's" disease or a related illness. The aim of care is to preserve as long as possible the quality of life of the people received, through personalized support, through individual or group activities: occupational therapy, memory workshops, gardening, manual activities, art- therapy, shared meals, relaxation ... This is where we met Mr M.
