Les changements climatiques, une question incommunicable dans l’espace public ? Vers une communication écologique

Abstract : The question of climate change is omnipresent in society and is debated in the public sphere. It confronts us with a situation that involves both incommunicability and a growing public and media awareness. The perspective of ecological communication, as it is developed in this article, leads us to view ecosystems as a form of heritage that is both cultural and natural ; they are crucial to understand and to protect. In moving from global communication to regional action, attention is focused on local issues and concerns and on the great diversity of situations and forms of communicative expression. It implies that we must think critically and reflectively about ways to regulate and adapt to ecological transition, incorporating local and democratic forms of dialogue and action.
