Une œuvre inconnue de Wakīʿ b. al-Ǧarrāḥ (m. 197/812 ?) et sa transmission en Égypte au IIIe/IXe siècle

This article offers the edition, translation and commentary of an Egyptian literary papyrus of the third/ninth century. This front page of a lost work by the Iraqi traditionist Wakīʿ b. al-Ǧarrāḥ (d. 197/812 ?), transmitted by Yūsuf b. ʿAdī al-Kūfī (d. 232/846) to a poorly known Egyptian student, bears on its verso two non-canonical traditions reported from Ibn al-Mubārak. The study of this document suggests that this papyrus was the beginning of a notebook written down under the master's dictation. This rare example of hypomnēma appears thus as representative of the transmission of Iraqi works in Fusṭāṭ during the first half of the third/ninth century.
Le présent article propose l'édition, la traduction et le commentaire d'un papyrus littéraire égyptien du III e /IX e siècle. Cette page de titre d'un ouvrage disparu du traditionniste irakien Wakīʿ b. al-Ǧarrāḥ (m. 197/812 ?), transmis par Yūsuf b. ʿAdī al-Kūfī (m. 232/846) à un étudiant égyptien mal connu, porte au verso deux traditions non canoniques rapportées d'après Ibn al-Mubārak. L'étude de ce folio permet de conclure qu'il s'agit du début d'un cahier de notes prises sous la dictée auprès du maître. Ce rare exemple d'hypomnēma est ainsi révélateur de la transmission d'oeuvres irakiennes dans la Fusṭāṭ de la première moitié du III e /IX e siècle.
