Abstract : Positive psychology, founded by Professors Martin Seligman and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, is a fundamental research field with a pragmatic focus that has enjoyed unprecedented popularity in international scientific circles for over 20 years. In this context, the education sector is one of the most scientifically scrutinized areas. Thus, this book wishes to draw attention to the fundamental aspects to be taken into account in the context of the growing interest in the current concept of positive education, which it seems urgent to clarify before the merchants of happiness have totally polluted its meaning and especially its use. Written in a clear manner, while firmly rooted in a scientifically supported perspective of positive psychology, this first French-language book on the subject is a real and essential contribution of the positive educational psychology from which the student, teacher, trainer, educational engineer and scientist can all draw the essence of a reflection rich in knowledge and innovative perspectives. In line with the work of many European researchers, this book also allows the author to show his desire to emancipate himself epistemologically from the influence of the culture of the historical founders of positive psychology, in order to shed new light on the foundations of positive education.
