Les interrelations des PME dans la structuration et la déstructuration des territoires de l’industrie : L’exemple de l’Ariège, vers 1800-vers 2010

Abstract : In the Pyrenees, many industries developed in the modern era. The wool industries were the most important. Only the Pays d’Olmes experienced the Industrial Revolution. Several causes explain this phenomenon: innovative entrepreneurs, the interrelation between specialized companies. The territory was born of this compulsory cooperation to ensure the full production operations. In the second half of the 20th century, several crises lead to the formation of large groups. The decline in the number of enterprises has led to the disappearance of the territory through the weakening of relations between enterprises.
