Éléments de réflexion autour de la conception du jouet pour un jeu sérieux

Abstract : Serious learning games can provide more than just an extra engagement to ITS. Some authors argue that those based on toys also transform their pedagogical aspects. The toy is then defined as an artifact you play "with" rather than the artifact you play "at". The exploratory and experimental qualities suggested by "with" are pointed out by these authors. In order to question serious game based on toys, we began with the investigation of their design. In this article, we propose three field studies conducted in an ecological situation. They aim to identify design patterns for the integration of toys into serious games. We discuss the results of the three studies and propose design pattern foundations for the design of a simulation, and for the design of playful interactions with it.
