Accords pyrénéens entre points, flèches et zones : les " lies et passeries" relues avec nla théorie des graphes et des réseaux
Résumé
Treated between Spanish and French valleys, pacts between valleys, districts or villages, agreements on the management of Pyrenean natural resources are numerous and sometimes still very topical. They can be found in texts from the Middle Ages to the present day. Subjects of an abundant bibliography, in particular the international treaties of "lies and passeries", these agreements have been the subject of few graphic representations except for some general cartographies, at the scale of the massif, in the form of dots or arrows. We will come back to these representations by asking ourselves, on the one hand, about the scale of the territorial entities concerned and, on the other hand, about the terms of the agreements concerning the movement of herds and pastures that are subject to undivided enjoyment. The latter, straddling the border, a sort of buffer zone in compascuity, are most of the time shared not only spatially, but also temporally (daily, monthly alternation). What does this imply in terms of material traces, detectable by archaeology on these frontiers? Finally, we will attempt to analyze these neighbourhood agreements from a network perspective using graph theory, with the aim of looking at these "classical" sources in a new way and making complex data intelligible.
Traités entres vallées espagnoles et françaises, pactes entre vallées, vics ou villages, les accords sur la gestion des ressources naturelles pyrénéennes sont nombreux et parfois encore d’actualités. Sujets d’une abondante bibliographie, notamment les traités internationaux de « lies et passeries », ces accords n’ont fait l’objet que de peu de représentations graphiques si ce n’est quelques cartographies générales, à l’échelle du massif, sous forme de points (Lafourcade 1998) ou de flèches et de zones (Brunet 2002). Nous reviendrons sur cette cartographie en nous interrogeant d’une part sur l’échelle des entités territoriales concernées, et d’autre part sur les pâturages qui font l’objet d’une jouissance indivise et les termes de la circulation des troupeaux. Enfin, nous tenterons d’analyser ces accords de voisinages sous l’angle des réseaux au moyen de graphes, avec pour objectif de rendre intelligibles des données complexes et d’envisager de manière nouvelle ces sources « classiques ».
