De l’efficacité en raison pratique : Approches comparatives

Abstract : From the sixties, there is a dialogue between Hellenists and Sinologists. First about the question of the so called mentality. Second, later in the nineties, around the problem of the «cunning intelligence», displayed by the Hellenists. How this Greek mêtis has been confronted with a «practical reason as the key to efficacy» discovered by a philosopher sinologist? The issue at hand is «putting in perspective» Greek thought and Chinese thought. It seems that it is a great opportunity to discuss some issues around «efficacy-efficiency» on the Greece-China axis. By the means of practical reason and efficacy, I intend to put comparative processes face to face. Comparing comparativisms is a crucial part of my current work.
