, The members of the group are nominated formally every two to three years. Originally referred to as 'Bologna Promoters', the group was called 'Bologna Experts' two years later within the EU. The groups encompassed between 9 (Ukraine) and 23 members (Poland)

, Some members could have different functions depending on the time period (for example, one employee of the Ukrainian ministry in 2009-2010 became a representative of the Ukrainian employers in 2011-2014).
