Pour une sémantique discursive : propositions et illustrations

Abstract : Drawing on theoretical and descriptive works, mainly from the fields of semantics, text linguistics and discourse analysis, this paper aims at laying the foundations of a discursive approach to meaning, called “discursive semantics” (sémantique discursive). First, the authors draw up a list of six postulates that intend to describe how semantics and discourse are interconnected. Then, the authors detail two of these postulates: the first one states that meaning is a multi-dimensional reality and the other one being that it is dynamic by nature, shifting between stability and instability.
