"The Valley of Guatemala was populated from the earliest times. The first inhabitants of the valley were located around the Miraflores Lake, the waters of Las Charcas, Amatitlán Lake, and the El Naranjo Lagoon. Construction of clay platforms and mounds seems to have begun in the Las Charcas phase. This paper presents the results of the mapping of the site, evaluating the layout of its structures. To this, other elements are added that complement the spatial arrangement at the site. " (source éditeur)
