Éléments de géographie moderne : cheminements géographiques de Jean-Paul Ferrier, du vrai (géographique) au juste (géographique) et au beau (géographique)

Abstract : The geographical pathways of Jean-Paul Ferrier (1937-2016), a founding member of the Dupont Group in 1971, stretched from the 1960s to the 2010s. Three works (Ante 1, 2, 3) show some highlights. Read separately, each one carries a geographical discourse with its own problematic ("geographical truth", "geographical justice", "geographical beauty"). (Re)-read together, they compose a discourse with a global logic. It is this incredible geographical work based on a ternary logic that we propose to highlight in this article by exposing Ferrier-Cosinchi's theorem and by naming this opus "Elements of Modern Geography".
