Abstract
The idea of metamorphosis is very present in the mythology and the greco-latine literature. We find it specifically during the 19th century in the poetry of Lautréamont commented during the 20th century by writers and philosophers. We intend to question this notion through the thematic of transformation of human nature. What kind of epistemological status can we attribute to the concept of metamorphosis in an evolutionist perspective?
