Histoires de migrations en région Centre-Val de Loire. Une exposition à plusieurs voix

Abstract : The memories of migrations in the heritage register of the Center - Loire Valley is the challenge launched by the Mémoires Plurielles association supported by a team of researchers in 2013. After a participatory collection in several cities in the region, the project culminated in the exhibition Histoires de migrations in 2017 in Orléans. Such an exhibition constitutes a real stake combining heritage, memorial and aesthetic factors with political considerations in this region more recognized for its classical historical heritage. In the context of a participatory approach, a wide range of actors gathered in several cities to carry out the collection and reflect on the realization of the exhibition. This article presents the stages of the project, the participatory process and its actors, the questions, debates and hesitations that such an approach imposes, and some of its outcomes.
