Relatively speaking, the sharing of the sensitive is an expression that Jacques Rancière used in 2000 to associate it a political dimension, and which corresponds finally well enough to questions we ask ourselves when we begin an artistic educational workshop in the cinema. This articulation between an artistic apprehension of the world and a public-spirited commitment which considers itself be a part of claiming of all the people who work of meadows or by far in educational situations on the cinema. If the purpose asserted straightaway is not political, it eventually approaches it all the same. The exchange and the meeting propose as the engine of the educational situations to experiment the cinema, which come there to federate his participants, to show solidarity to them to compose so a new community based on these interactions. The educational workshops artistic in the cinema are often implemented at first to favor a critical mind in front of images so easily consummate nowadays. Nevertheless this necessity of knowing how to read with hindsight images is often more similar to a civic duty than to an apprehension of a real artistic dimension which would favor a self-fulfillment and which would be priority.

Toute proportion gardée, le partage du sensible est une expression que Jacques Rancière a utilisé en 2000 pour y associer une dimension politique, et qui correspond finalement assez bien aux questions que l'on se pose quand on entreprend un atelier d'éducation artistique au cinéma. Cette articulation entre une appréhension artistique du monde et un engagement citoyen qui s'affirme fait partie des revendications de toutes les personnes qui travaillent de prés ou de loin dans des situations pédagogiques au cinéma. Si le but affirmé d'emblée n'est pas politique, il finit par s'en approcher quand même. L'échange et la rencontre se proposent comme le moteur des situations pédagogiques pour expérimenter le cinéma, qui en viennent à fédérer ses participants, à les solidariser pour composer ainsi une nouvelle communauté basée sur ces interactions. Les ateliers d'éducation artistique au cinéma sont souvent mis en oeuvre dans un premier temps pour favoriser un esprit critique face aux images si facilement consommées de nos jours. Pourtant cette nécessité de savoir lire avec du recul des images s'apparente souvent plus à un devoir civique qu'à l'appréhension d'une véritable dimension artistique qui favoriserait un épanouissement personnel et qui serait prioritaire.
