Les marges, une géographie plastique des territoires humains

Abstract : The question of “margins of France" questions the links between human and space. From a double perspective defining the “margins” as an “eccentric geography” and an “existentialist geography”, the article proposes a malleable geography of human territories attentive to the relations between center and periphery, between norms and out of norms, which envisages the social bond. If the study of the margins seems complex, if they draw geography without fixed spatial contours, yet it gives another geography of France at a time when the integrator model has difficulties.
