The Archaeological Museum of the American University of Beirut (AUB) includes an important collection of Greek and Latin inscriptions, mainly of Near Eastern provenance. The 126 items have in large part remained unpublished. Their publication contributes to the work in progress on Near Eastern epigraphy, specifically in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, within the framework of the program of the Inscriptions grecques et latines de la Syrie (IGLS). It also enhances the AUB Museum collections.
