Couleurs, éclat et brillance des crânes surmodelés : le cas du Néolithique Proche-oriental

Abstract : The Levantine region provided a coherent corpus of plastered skulls, dating from the MPPNB and LPPNB (8200-7000 BC). Study of their external aspect, especially the use of colors on the plasters points to a search for a shiny and brilliant object, in accordance with the generally admitted ritual function of these.
