Time : The Missing Category in Christaller's Model

Christaller's model is famous for dividing space into hexagons representing urban networks. But what about Time ? Time within the theory : how does the model appear, develop, change ? What is its history ? And Time around the model : how does a theory, developed in the Germany during the Nazi era relate to its ideological and political surroundings ? This paper shows that if Time is quite absent from the model's inner logic, it has powerfully impose large parts of the current ideology : the Zeitgeist.
