Abstract : The heterogeneity of air passengers is a recurring element of fascination in popular culture, from picture books for children to films such as Love actually or The Terminal. Such diversity and density of people at the airport raise an important question: how are conceived and experimented such places by and for such diverse populations? It is of particular relevance for these sites because of the intensely contrasted spatial and social horizons of the parties involved.
